Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN
We are currently seeking top-tier Licensed Vocational Nurses with some experience in a Mental or Behavioral Health Care setting.
Mental and Behavioral Health nurses work with people suffering from various mental health conditions to offer help and support in dealing with the condition.
The work involves helping the patient to recover from their illness as well as come to terms with it in order to lead a positive life.
The nurses may specialize in working with geriatrics or pediatrics, or in a specific area such as eating disorders.
Mental health nurses often work in multidisciplinary teams, liaising with psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, GPs, social workers and other health professionals.
As a Mental or Behavioral Health Nurse, you may work with patients in a variety of settings including their homes, community healthcare centers, hospital outpatient departments, specialist units or secure residential units.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
o Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
o Performs focused interview to identify specific patients needs.
o Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
o Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications include:
o Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License.
o Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
o Current Health Certificate (per facility).
o Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
o One year prior professional nursing experience Preferred.
o Current BLS card.
