Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer/Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Monterey, CA. Description of Position: Seeking a systems administrator who:     Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators; Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products     Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery     Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. These duties will include, but are not limited to:     Ensuring automated backups are completed on daily basis     Testing and deploying patches, McAfee ePO agent and Anti-Virus to systems while making sure the agents already deployed are reporting properly     Downloading and deploying updated ACAS plugins     Provisioning AWS resources     Configuring AWS monitoring services to ensure adequate resources are available     Configuring, deploying, and monitoring AWS Security Groups/Firewall rules and IAM user accounts/roles     Ensuring all systems are compliant with RMF/FedRAMP and other regulations as dictated by customer or ISSM by     Running STIG reports and ACAS (Nessus) scans frequently (per ISSM/ISSO directions)     Configuration and management of logging solutions, such as Elastisearch and splunk     Qualifications  Basic Qualifications: o A minimum of 10 years of experience is required. o Experience in setting up/maintaining virtual environments, linux & windows server, applying policies and maintaining sys administration documents (including inventory worksheets). o Experience in performing and providing technical direction for the administration, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/nontechnical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis. o Experience in one or more Cloud Computing platforms o RMF and FedRAMP experience, including network and server IAVA review, security scanning, and reporting o Linux Red Hat 7.x and Windows Server 2012/2016 OS expertise     Experience with both relational and cloud database concepts and technologies (MySQL RDBMSP)     An active Position of Public Trust Clearance is required to start.  Preferred Qualifications: o Experience in developing documentation required to support a program's technical issues and training situations. o Experience using agile and/or spiral development models. o Experience in developing systems performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirement for mid-to-large scale programs. o Experience migrating legacy systems or components to a cloud-based environment. o Knowledge and experience with developing distributed storage routing and querying algorithms. o Experience implementing storage area networks, data warehouses and data marts. o Experience evaluating project needs, determining tasks and durations and allocating resources. o Experience implementing solutions with IDM and PKI-controlled access. o Experience implementing and managing ELK stack-based logging o Knowledge of serverless Lambda to monitor and troubleshoot current automation processes o Linux Red Hat 7.x and Windows Server 2012/2016 OS expert o Understanding and maintenance of CAC enabled products such as Putty, VPN, etc. o User training and support o Scripting (Shell, Perl, and Python) 18023056

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
